Chris Walden has been the CEO for Cancer52 since October 2024.

He was previously Deputy Director of Policy, Campaigns and Engagement at member, Blood Cancer UK and has significant experience of leading teams and building relationships to achieve change. Before this he was Head of Public Affairs for Macmillan, provided freelance public affairs consultancy and was a senior Director of the Association of Colleges.

Prior to becoming Cancer52鈥檚 CEO, Chris served as a Trustee and Chair of the Cancer52 Policy and Public Affairs Steering Group.
